Sacristans Before Mass
Please arrive 20-30 mins before Mass for the following:
- Greet the Faithful coming in. Be prepared to welcome visitors and help them locate the Confessional, restroom, etc.
- Please keep the Confessional door clear.
- Following the kids collection, please use both collection baskets to gather the offering.
- Once gathered, please bring forth the bread, wine, water, and collection.
- Following Mass, please distribute the bulletins.

Please arrive 20-30 mins before Mass to complete the following (a check list is on the Sacristy bulletin board):
- Turn on all lights.
- Turn on the sound system. .
- Priest Chalice is on the server's table.
- The wine, water, and bread are on the table in the back.
- Grey collection basket is in the back.
- Brown collection basket is on the table next to the Presider's chair.
- Tabernacle key is in the Tabernacle.
- Servers have lit the candles 10 minutes prior to Mass.

- The Chalice is locked in the cabinet.
- The Tabernacle key is locked in the cabinet.
- The sound system is off.
- The candles are extinguished.
- The collection is counted and stored.
- The water and wine cruets are on the counter.
- The Host ciborium is in the bread/wine cabinet.
- Upstairs and downstairs lights are off.

Sacristans After Mass
Please arrive 20 mins before Mass to complete the following (a check list is on the Sacristy bulletin board):
- Put on the proper attire.
- At 10:15am: light the 6 large candles on the High Altar and the 2 candles on the table Altar. You need to use the candle taper.
- At 10:20am: ring the bell outside 12 times.
- At 10:20am: make sure the charcoal is lit for the incense
- Post-Mass responsibilities are posted on the Sacristy bulletin board.

Please arrive 10-15 mins before Mass, having reviewed the readings. Please be in the Sacristy by 10:20, incase there are special instructions for the Holy Mass.
